Just done a little reg check, 3628 cc, first registered on 30/10/06, £475/year tax
Don't buy a Range Rover and expect cheap motoring....simples!
Either you have lead boots or there's summat up with your Td6, my mates gets close to 30mpgStick with the 3.0TD6. We have a waiting list for the 3.6 TDV8 engines - speaks volumes to us as they must be rubbish! Same goes with the Sport 2.7. Not sure why tho.
My 4.4 Overfinch V8 was returning over 23mpg around town. Current TD6 is just under 20mpg.
V8 all the way....

Zoot Alors, that's worse than my P38Mine only did around 23mpg without the BHP chip fitted
Zoot Alors, that's worse than my P38
Yes, worse consumption... But a heavier car, bigger engine and a damn sight quicker than your p38 !
Not according to LR's figures
Someone posted a couple of days ago, the L322 is about a second faster to 62mph if I remember correctly, that's quick!Really ?
What's the figures ? I'm interested

400 kilos more weight and only another 36BHP so it sounds about right.
I'd like to put them side by side
Saying that you could be right
I'm so used to mine with the box turned on now iv probably forgotten how slow they were when standard :/

LPG'd P38 Equivalent to late 20's mpg and a damn sight quicker than a TD6
quick until the HG fails
HG is the least of my worries, that's a 5 minute job. Slipped liners are wot nightmares are made of
slipped liners... thats what i meant !
i knew it was something the petrols suffered with.
do they suffer as bad or worse even once LPG converted ?
