so over 10 years on from the original thread, just bursting to know what happened with Dan Ball and his merry band of con merchants

Probably nothing. I spoke to him at the time. He went bust owing money. One of his suppliers did the same to him, keeping his money. Hence why his own business crashed. He told me the supplier and i checked they had shut down. That meant he could only get himself out of the situation by getting a job. He had plans to try to pay back the money and setup again but the odds were against him. He would need cash to get started again. Then trade successfully to start earning. Wasn't going to happen easily. I believe he got a job in the end and went quiet.
