Got a 2005 Freelander 1 TDi
Leaking from the IRD inlet coolant pipe

Any tips for access? Would dropping the prop shaft help much?

I've got the spring clip off the rear pipe and freed the pipe but the inlet pipe that needs replacing is behind that and has a jubilee clip with the slot angled upwards. I've got the jubilee clip off the top joint but can't get traction on the pipe to free it off

You need to work out if it's the rubber pipe leaking, or the metal one on the cooler. If it's the cooler pipe, then you'll need to replace the cooler disc, or link out the IRD cooler completely.

I’m pretty sure it’s either the rubber pipe or the clip at the bottom end, but until I can get access and get it off I can’t be sure.
