Hi,

Does anybody know if there is an IPOD interface module available for the R770 radio so I can use my ipod?

Thanks

Philip were never big on supporting the iPod and given the age of these units they would not support it natively. There is a product called Connects2 which allows the iPod to emulate a CD changer

(long string should be on one line in the address bar with no spaces)
I haven't tried it so there are no guarantees, given that it is £70+ it is up to you but I would fita more modern unit which supports iPod directly.

PS Always be wary with Philips products, quite a few have never been near the company and are manufactured under license by other companies. (my old Philips laptop was actually a Twinhead)

Thanks for the advice, sounds like the better option is to get another radio. Would my steering switches still work though and my 6cd autochanger? Cheers

Another expense I know but as far as I know no car audio would support the steering controls without an adapter. Most of the reasonable brands have steering control adapters to allow the connection to work. I for example have just fitted a Pioneer head unit and they do provide 3 different adapters according to the original fitment. This site lists various adapters to fit the Land Rover range to allow a plug in solution
