So,,,,
I have given up the day job to focus on building a new house. Was a nine to fiver, driving 2 hours to and from work in my Audi A6 Avant. Started to get invovled in more stuff at home plus have opened up the garden for Motorhomes and caravans. A6 was being destroyed with dump runs and trailer. Have always loved defenders, so have swapped my keyless, automatic, all mod cons, A6 for a 2007 Defender 90 hard top. The Audi didn't as much as cough during my time with it, services were ok as I wasnt doing that many miles. To say driving the Defender was a bit of a culture shock is an understatement. But I absolutely love it, I have never got in a vehicle, I have had a few, and had to learn to drive all over again, clutch heavy, steering wheel to big, heating is hopeless, no space, hand break in wrong place, wind noise, condensation in winter. So far I have had the power steering box leak, the nearside hub leak oil, the heater controls pack up, water in the footwell, God knows where that is coming from. Currently I am dealing with the windscreen wipers packing up. I am 'I think!' half way through the job. Luckily I have a barn and plenty of tables to put the interior of my Landy on. Will post a summary of the wiper fix, as I have done a lot of reading and it might help some poor sole like me, navigate through the diferent posts to identify the possible causes. Well thats me from now, I am likely to posting quite a lot as from reading posts from this and other sites, landrovers are a bit like 'Triggers Broom' if you own them long enough......

Wouldn't be surprised if the water is getting in via the windscreen seal or the seal between the windscreen and the bulkhead.
