I may have been on this forum years ago, but since those good old days, I had lost my way (twice):
My ex RAF Regiment Defender 127 FFR deteriorated in front of my very eyes. It was down the side of the house: Water was getting through the canvas and corroding the chassis. So I had a car port installed above.
I then stripped it down to the chassis, phoned Rent-A-Friend to help me up end the chassis to start cleaning.
Lost my way again (divorce No 2) and now I am retired, I have no excuses.
Yesterday, I spent half a day with flap discs and rotary wire brushes, only 10% is so far cleaned! and now I feel my age. I am so relieved I had not cleaned it using hand brushes and scrapers?

Anyways, less moaning, I am here, as most others are: To pick brains, and in my case get inspiration!

Welcome:)

So you lost your way but your Landy kept you on the straight and narrow :)
