Just when I decide to sell - someone up theirs having a laugh!
Its like limp mode if I keep the hammer down it will eventually clear and accelerate like the turbo kicking in - if I change down gear it stays limp until revs pick up. If I pull over and restart the engine it does clear it 9 times outta 10 initially.
It did happen a few years ago and I replaced the fuel filter with a Mahl and it cleared for a few weeks. Now its back. I did replace the fuel filter again with a Mahl last year. New injector seals last year. Recent new fuel pump. Bit of oil travel to ECU. People suggest a better fuel filter replacement?

Just remembered I do have a fuel leak on the far right pipe at the fuel pump - someones done a DIY on the pipe in the past and now it leaks - would this cause the loss of power?
