Freelander 1 intermittant start prob. 2.0 l series

These guys send you a new fob and a box of tricks to program the fob to your immobiliser.
The box of tricks also reads your EKA code - so when you return it, they extract it and tell you what it is.

SEMI SORTED

got a fella out with the diagnostic kit,

the fob is working but it is not getting picked up by the jeep itself.

i got the EKA code put it in and had the passive immobiliser removed.

it starts and goes but presently the jeep cant be locked as it will put the immob back on and I will have to put the EKA code in again.

need to try and source a new receiver I suppose.
