2nd question,

My disco has the tan/beige plastics on the interior and I'd like to give it a good clean up. It obviously has the slightly textured finish so I am after a product that gets right in there but doesn't leave a dried on residue(like Cif etc)

want something I can scrub in to lift/clean the dirt off and then wipe off leaving her looking minty fresh

suggestions please

an abrasive cleaner will more than likely damage the plastic, better using a nail brush and hot soapy water if it is that bad, then give a good rinse with clean water.

Just mind where you get the detergent. Try and keep it off metalwork or it'll encourage rust.
 
I don't think soap will do it. Hence I wanted something a little more aggresive. It's only real the boot trim which has seen some action that needs some Cleaning
 
sorry not like that. Just mean its been used so black mark here and there and mainly grubby. I'm after a wonder treatment that makes it look "good" not stunning but like its been cleaned.
 
about 20 per cent tfr and hot water and a rag , this will move your dirt have done this before oh and a bit of elbow grease
 
Years ago, I used a product by decosol. It was in a glass bottle and was a thick orange liquid. You paint it onto the trim and leave it. You could physically see the Orange change colour. Wipe it off with a damp cloth and the result was amazing. I don't know if this product is still available or not.
 
Another for traffic film remover sprayed on, left and wiped off. I don't find soapy water even with a nail brush gets the grime out of the textured finish.
