Interior lights stuck on?????

Hi All

My 03 freebies interior lights are stuck on. Its not the doors as the dashboard light for door opening turns off when they are shut. Locking the car doesn't make them turn off. Any ideas? They are both LED but I cant see how that would make a difference as they have worked fine in the past.

Is the switch, that is actually located on the light fitting itself, switched to the permanently on position ?

There are 3 positions -

1/ Permanently on
2/ Permanently off
3/ Switched with the door switrches

If both are stuck on then i reckon it's the power transistor in the ccu. Try putting proper bulbs back in. Power transistors like a bit of load on them which leds don't give.

Yep both are stuck in. will try putting the other bulbs back in.

Yep that fixed it! I think I might put a dummy load in somewhere with the LEDs.
