Hi , looking for a bit of advice please. I just had my 2010 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 into a very reputable garage that specialises in Landrovers and had new shocks , pads, springs, insulators on both rear wheels and a new power steering hose , using genuine landrover parts for everything.

Thats all fine, however when I picked the car up yesterday afternoon the garage told me that my electric window & mirror control panel isnt working at all on drivers side, although the windows will open individually on each door.

However tonight when I went out and it was dark I realised that none of the interior lights are working when the doors open or when I try to put them on using the switches on the lights. All these things were working perfectly well before the car went in. My question is could this be something the garage have done when changing the hose in the engine, could it have caught a wire or connector or something as it seems odd that its all interior electrics that have gone? I’m not blaming them , I’m just asking if there is something I can check before taking it back in?

Sounds like a fuse may have blown, look in your hand book to find which fuse works in association with those items.

Thank you ! I googled it and you were bang on, the F17 in the passenger footwell fuse box had gone and I replaced it and everything is working again. Thanks for the advice
Keep an eye on it, if it happens again quite quickly then you need to find out why? if maybe just that the fuse was old.
