Sierraferry , would you have a pic of that earth cable ?
Yep, just a short piece of wire with female spades at each end, one end fits where it should in the light unit & the other end conveniently on that sensor bracket (see previous pics) but to check it's going to work just pop the light lens cover off & put/hold an earth wire on one of the 8mm nuts & earth the other end some suitable & if it's just an earth problem it should work.Andy , is it easy enough to make an earth cable ?
Have a butchers at my pics & you'll see I used two female spades (you can get assorted packs from Halfords). Not sure of the size maybe 5 or 6mm.Hi Andy , what size of spade did you use on the metal plate they the light sits on ? Also what did you use on the other slide , a spade pr a hoop ?
Give it a tweak or two with a pair of pliers then!Hi Andy, the spade connector that you have connected to the vehicle what size was it and how did you get it to stay ? I’ve tried and it keeps slipping off
Hi, I don't remember having any problems with mine slipping off but the female spades were the same either end of my earth lead. I'll have a look in my 'wiring connector' box tomorrow as I know I have a couple of different sizes in there.Hi Andy, the spade connector that you have connected to the vehicle what size was it and how did you get it to stay ? I’ve tried and it keeps slipping off

Tried that with out any success
Hi Andy , I did and it worked a treat , if you could let me know about the space sizes that would be greatDid you try holding a temporary earth wire to the 8mm nut ? as per post 23 just to make sure (like mine) it is only the 'missing' earth that's causing your issue.
Morning Andy,Hi Andy , I did and it worked a treat , if you could let me know about the space sizes that would be great
