Hi all,

I have put a new beige/cream leather interior in my td5. Now i dont like the light grey dashboard. Would like it black on top and beige/cream on the bottom parts.

Has anyone got any ideas on how this can be done?

A few ideas i have thought are ...
1) Black plasidip spray on top and cream interior spray the bottom
2) Try and glue leathette on the dash
3) Use normal sray paint

Any advice on the above ....

thanks

try plasticote they do sprays for plastic vinyl, or have a look in mod'in sites for the stuff boy racers use.

I had the standard GS all grey interior in mine, but over the years I've fitted a facelift black and cream interior - this is 'before' with the cream leather and black door cards already fitted -

and after

Took a weekend, most of the time taken by swapping over the wiring, switches, clips etc as the black dash was brand new and never fitted so was totally 'naked' (a bargain at £60 on ebay!)

I'll be covering the glovebox, fusebox cover and doorcard inserts with cream leather\leathercloth eventually, and will be recolouring the seats to cream & black to finish the makeover, along with replacing the beige plastic trim bits that are left with black bits.

I reckon you could do something similar?
