Hi guys, gutted today knew my landy wasn't 100% and took it to my local garage only to find out it needs a new intercooler, just wandering if anyone has or knows anyone with one for sale. My landy is a 2000 TD5. Or can the intrcooler be re-conditioned like a radiator. Any help much appreciated.

Is the intercooler damaged or just blocked with muck? I've seen a few on ebay not very expensive was going to bung one on my old 2.5td but got a 200tdi to put in instead so never bothered.

well the bloke in the garage said its goosed. It has a patch of oil in the left corner and some of the squiggly bits have come away from ther weld dont know if that means its fecked

Try this
LAND ROVER DEFENDER TD5 INTERCOOLER PART NO: BTP5650 on eBay, also, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 23-Apr-08 10:39:19 BST)
Or 170 odd quid for a new one from craddocks, easy to fit yourself.

Thanks thats great. I will check the dimensions cause the part number is different from the one land rover gave me. thanks
