I have 55 Reg HSE and use Keith Michaels PLC - Worcester Park Surrey. Jusy paid £436 F/Comp two drivers etc etc. Highly recommended.

I use Churchill for my Merc and when I got the P38 they were the cheapest of everyone except for a limited mileage policy with a classic car specialist.

I went on their site on Friday to get a quote. I had three phone calls from one of their reps with the quote. I politely thanked him and said I would phone back when I am ready to insure. He suggested I take out the insurance there and then. I made excuses saying my debit card was at work and I will phone HIM on Monday. He then asked if there was anyone else's here who card I could use. I said no. He then insisted that he phone ME.

Since then I have had 40 phone calls on my home number and mobile. Half of which have had their number withheld.

Can't they take a hint? I have complained to them about their pushy sales tactics and told them I would never consider using them.

There is something to be said for the faceless internet. I prefer it over people like him any day.

Ive just been looking to renew my insurance and I look at the go compare.com site which gives you a lot of choices and also moneysupermarket.com, just put in your details and let it search for you. I tried the usuals such as sureterm but found cheaper elsewhere,2002 Td5es fully comp with zurich 9yrs no claims 50 yrs old £231 with £50 worth of m+s vouchers within 28 days of policy commencing, which gives me £181 quote, cant be bad, was with the post office last year they had a £50 cash back scheme, but dont know if its still on. Have a good luck round you can save a lot. Good luck

ive tried everybody now, but cant beat jubilee who quoted me £451, so im going to go with them.
Another kick in the teeth from directline, is that this yar would be my 6th year NCB, but there maximum NCB is five years, so i only get 5 years total to cary over ??!!
