Your best bet on a Land Rover is a Series. They've got the lowest insurance group of any Landy. You should try Adrian Flux for a start, they're sometimes OK with younger drivers.

int third party as expensive as fully comp these days - or did i dream that ?

be lucky to find anyone who'll insure you on a landy for much less than 3k at your age

dont think ive got any chance on a 90? :frown:
i could go with my mum as the proposer with me as the main driver..that possible?
quotes are ridiculous tho..like £4000

I agree, you'd prob be better off with a series insured on a classic policy, give a few companies a call and ask you never know your luck.

I dont get why its so expensive...there slowww as F*** and only do like 80?

Insurance companies are c**ts and fleece anyone under 25, mate of mine asked me to help get a policy for his 18yr old daughter on a suzuki sj, best quote I could get was £1500:eek: and the car only cost £200:confused: go figure.

joke init! well last year our insurance was £1800 and its come down to £1500 (renewal was yesterday) on a 1.6 mecedes A-class, so i dont see why its should be high for a 90 thats like twice as slow lol

A 90 is a hell of a lot more appealing to theiving bastard pikeys than an A-class unfortunately:mad:.

when i was 22, i got my Disco TD5 ES ins for about £700 in my own name, couple years no claims etc.

My 90 Td5 ins is up for insurance soon, so far got it to about £480 with 4 years no claims ( i hope).

Im 23 :)
