I got a quote that I couldn't believe from those nice meerkats. So I tried it online and guess what - "sorry but you need to speak to an advisor". They called me next day and I strapped myself in preparing to be shafted.
The young lady I spoke to was very nice and guided through the questions. I explained that I had no claims on the Landrover but it had been off the road for a few years so I'd probably lost it now, though I had full no claims on the family car and on a bike. (25 years accident free)
Anyway for my '88 110 CSW, 2.5TD with just me to drive, admittedly a classic vehicle insurance on limited mileage, £77.90
The company was a broker called Performance Direct and the policy was with Chaucer Insurance.
Oh! and I get a free meerkat!!
