Hey everyone,

Installing the gauge from JustRaceParts on my Disco TD5 2003.

Struggling with the instructions i got where to splice it in best, and into which wires.

Opened the instrument cluster, my guess was here I should get all I need.

But what do they mean with wideband-controller?

Can’t find pink / green - coulours are as well really faded.

Hi,
But what do they mean with wideband-controller?
I have no ideea what they mean by that

...all i can tell you is that the tacho signal on the D2 is white/grey wire going to C0230 pin 15 but that's a 2pulse/rev PWM signal i dont know if that "5v or 12V square wave signal" described by them in the guide fits this

though isnt that device dedicated for OBD2 vehicles maybe?

Hey sierraferry,
Appreciate you replying. I spliced now the into the green white wire on the ECU to get an RPM input on the Gauge - I got an input but the revs don’t match up. Sliced into pink green on ECU for a speed signal - no data shown. I contacted now the guys of JRP for some guidance.
My guess it doesn’t matter where I spliced into white grey if by the instrument cluster or by ECU in front.

The Gauge is for both // OBD2 complient - or external input to through sensors, installed all by now and iam super satisfied, just would like to get the revs correctly shown and the speed. (EGT, water level/temp/pressure, boost, oil temp/pressure. I got one sensor left for fuel pressure - thought about installing it to see if the pump on highpressure line always brings enough pressure.
