Just ordered my baby a new set of wheels, insa special trax 265/75 r16. does anyone run them on here and what do you think of them? im not conserned how they handle on-road but would be nice to know they will last more than 100 miles on the tarmac. but its down in the mud im really interested in.

3 weeks till the lift kit goes on and then she is nearly finished!!

i had 235/85's on my old disco and they were the best thing I ever bought fer it....look too chavvy fer me series though ;):D:D:D

cheers guys, they are going on my 110 this week so time will tell.anyone out in wiltshire anywhere soon? im in swindon and dont know anyone with a landy, just got mine and started putting the stuff on it. haha

im in newbury, so not far from you...

head down to the salisbury plains, get a land ranger map so you know where the byways are and have fun..

sometimes a few of us from here get together down there, so just keep an eyes on the green laning section on the forum.. :)

would love to mate but still got these silly road tyres on, etc, hoping my kit will be here and fitted this week so was thinking maybe next weekend?
Got front and rear diff guard, steering guard, snorkel and wading kit, hi lift jack and mounts and adaptor, insa special trax 265/75 r16 and a tiny little 4500lb winch coming with a tray to pop it on the front bumper.

What else should i invest in?

got a mate doing a 2" lift but not for a few weeks.
all the above has cost enough for 1 week! haha

i think you have spent enough, dont go silly spending on every gadjet...before spending money on a lift kit or anything else, just take it off road..after that, then decide what else you need..

you might find that you wont need the lift kit...

my disco has a lift kit, but on the 90 i havent put one as the 90 is taller than the disco...i havent taken the 90 properly on the plains but will do soon and then decide on the lift kit or not

yeah i think ill pop on what i have bought and give it a run. problem is i got stuck on the first day i had it, over ambitious with my clearance and beached it on the rear diff in a deep rut. sounds fine but when your on your own it makes you fear the worst ill tell you!!!

That all said tho, i did get out, and it was still an absolutly amazing day! definatly hooked!!
