Took the inlet manifold off to get to the Glow Plugs/Injectors for testing.....separate story.

Any idea best way to clean the inlet ports ?

A standard knife and workshop vacuum cleaner is the safest way.

Wet and dry vac is great for this type of work.

Then you just need another wet and dry vac to clean the vacuum cleaner out !!

Clean the ones with valves closed first then turn engine to clean the others

That's pretty, not.
I would hang off on whatever your perceived injector/glow plug issue till that's clean and tested again. Unless you really know.

and .. if you've not yet deleted the EGR device ..
see ...page 41 .. post 819 ..
