Burnt black diesel at Base of injector on 2 injectors..could be drip off pipes
Wammers is correct, if you have a problem with the sealing washers DON'T buy new unless they are buggered. They are copper and can be annealed by heating them to cherry red and dropped into cold water.Right halfrauds here we go
I had fuel leaking there and it turned out to be the injectors leaking not the spill off pipe (original thought). 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 could be refurbished. If the leak is on 4 then you need a new injector.
The body had split from the internals or something similar (I regret not asking for more information but I was in a rush to rebuild it). The other 5 could be fully rebuilt, but too much plastic in No4 to prevent it.Maybe but not from the injector base seal. Number four can be refurbished with a new nozzle and pin providing the electrical side is ok.

Ah. That'll be why he had to bin it. Thanks for the info.If the plastic bit is split it's knackered.
Good evening Wammers, I have bubbling black diesel when running at the base of number 1 (closest to front bumper). Definitely spill pipe or should I grab a couple of washers anyway?Yes there is what is your problem? Bosch diesel specialists should have them. I doubt if Halfrauds will. If you have diesel leaking it will not be caused by that item.

The black fabric type tubing? Any idea where can I grab some replacement pipe? Think it's already been cut, no slack at all.Spill pipe, liquid fuel cannot leak out of the cylinder.
