Got a leak from a couple of injectors I think.
At first I thought my sump had a leak and thats why I had an orrible oily drip from bottom of bell housing. Since pressure washing engine bay I have now noticed the diesel/oil at top of injectors, which I think is dripping down engine collecting old oil n crud along the way making it look like an oil leak when it gets to my bell housing finally

Question is, can i nip up the injectors retaining nut a little without affecting the copper washer too much......and the leak off return pipes look a tad old and could be the culprit, are they just a push fit job?

cheers dears.

Kinda looks like the banjo bolts on the spill pipes have rattled loose and diesel is seeping by the copper washers...... or the nut on the injector pipes needs a wee nip up;)

Will have to change copper washers on banjos i think, tried tightening them last night and they were stiff as the preverbial....injector brackets were damn tight too!

I noticed some more oily goo around the engine where the bottom of the cyclone breater goes to so will look at the jubilee connections there also. The lift pump is in the way a little so not much room down there!

your wasting your time trying to tighten them - if your a tight arse take them all out and anneal them, copper washers go hard and brittle over time, annealing will soften and put the "give" back in them which is what is needed to give a good seal
