Disco 2 Injector cleaner additive - thoughts?

Hi all, just managed to get my D2 back to good running order after a few issues, she's going as good as ever, but I don't think I get better than about 20mpg..its an auto and mostly shirt trips, so not miles from what I'd expect, but still got me thinking about any improvements I might be able to make. Was going to start by adding an injector cleaner when refilling.. I've seen a few people who do it as standard, not just a one off. Obviously there's redex etc..but I was thinking of buying in bulk if I'm adding every refill, there's a product called "hydra diesel power blast" which you can get 1L for £19.. Which would do about 15 tank fulls..so just over a quid per fill up, about 3 times cheaper than buying little bottles of other additives . Anyone used it? Or any things you should look out for which will make a better choice for a td5?

How does it do on trousers trips?

Its better.. But only if you press it..

I add 2SO to my fuel whenever I fill up.
Usually fill up when showing half tank and put about 100mil of 2so into the tank.
I run well, absolutely NO smoke at all. Locally about 23/24 and can push 30 on long journeys.
If not sure about 2SO(two stroke oil) just google 2SO in diesel fuel and you will have enough reading for a fortnight.
A lot of Td5 users add 2SO.
Worth a try anyway.

I would say 20mpg is about right for short trips in an auto disco 2.
My auto D3 does 5 mile daily commutes and is doing 20mpg.

Over the years Ive tried all the additives bought and home made in a variety of land rovers and have to say not once have I ever noticed any difference to how they have run or mpg, same with the posh diesel.

What sort of ratio do you add it at?
