Independant landy mechanics in Somerset?

Can anyone recommend a Land Rover mechanic in the Somerset area? Bath / Radstock / Frome.

there ant many decent indys this part of somerset only one i know of is gerrald hallet

so does eightinavee, but he might have pulled out of Landy stuff now.

there are also quite a few LZ members down that way that might give yu a hand, if yu ask.

Steve Hill at Flowers Hill Ind Est in Brislington Bristol
Joyces in Trowbridge (although from what I hear they can be pricey)
J and G in Warminster

Is that the garage down the back of the murco petrol station?

I've heard good things about him......Unfortunately I've also witnessed first hand the dangerous cock up that 2 of his employees/mates made. They actual fault on the vehicle was a 5 second fix. Instead they spent a couple of hours ripping bits of the car apart that they didn't need to and then left the vehicle in a dangerous state whereby it could have burst into flames.

Still here,still nailing LRs back together.....

Another vote for Steve Hill in Brislington. Use him all the time for MOT's and stuff I cant be bothered to fix!

I use Tim Fry in Cheltenham occassionally when i dont have time to fix something. always found them very helpful but they are a bit further away from you

our local garage aint a specialist, but they run a 90 and a disco themselves, and being a village garage they get a fair few in for mot and repair.
