Hi to all out there hope everything is going swimmingly for you
Well i have had the l322 for 2 years and this is the list of work i have done so far,
i will try and get it in order
full service air, oil, fuel ,pollen, breather in rocker box, engine oil ,gearbox oil and filter, diffs and transfer oils
removed egr valve and replaced it with...another one
replaced bonnet struts
replaced wing repeaters for crystal/chrome look
changed anti freeze
it had new brakes all around discs and pads, then removed refurbished, painted calipers ( not lairy colours )
reassembled with correct grease, bled system thoroughly ( cleaned out master cylinder reservoir )
new parking sensors front and rear
with rear bumper off carried out re seal around bolt holes , stopped water Ingress
fitted Overfinch chrome (working not dummy) exhausts
cleaned exhaust surface rust off, painted with high temperature black paint
replaced firstly EAS compressor seal, didn't work very well, then changed barrel and seal that worked perfectly
removed air receiver tank checked for water collecting inside,none present and repainted that
fitted complete new front off side suspension leg
fitted four new EAS height sensors
upgraded interior trim,bits of old mahogany sideboard for dash board and around heater controls,autobiography arm rest knobs,led lights
new head lining
removed headlights cleaned internally and fitted new ballasts,replaced bulbs with higher kelvin bulbs for a more crisp light
replaced front near side fog light
fitted new fog lamp chrome bezels
replaced o/s/f head lamp washer motor
fitted chrome door handles and new range rover lettering
replaced head lamp wiper blades
fitted new windscreen wiper blades plus new oem clips
fitted new higher cca battery
then fitted the later type vortex rocker box breather for crank case
carried another gearbox flush, oil only this time
repaired rear wiper motor replaced blade
fitted new upper brake light
re sealed tailgate spoiler to stop water ingress and down sides of tailgate glass
injected spay rust proof in the cavities
removed rear outer quarter trims replaced clips and resealed to stop water ingress
removed both door mirrors,fitted new mechanisms adjust park sensor replace both mirror glass
replaced viscous fan unit
replaced air-con condenser and re gas
replaced 19 inch wheels for 20 inch l405 wheels and pirellis
replaced air con fan
replaced 20 inch l405 wheels for 21 inch l405 wheels and pirellis
replaced anti roll bar bushes and vertical link rods front
replaced in tank fuel pump
replaced inline fuel pump
overhauled Bosch h/p fuel pump and resealed with regulator,with great input from MrB @backinblack ,big thank you
fitted new water pump
replace frayed leak off pipes
removed air con tensioner re worked the arm and reamed out tensioner body ,then assembled WITH COPPER GREASE so the next time it may need work in this area i dont struggle
replace alternator and air con belts
removed all heater pipes and cleaned them and rejuvenated the seals with Lockheed red rubber grease
replaced top hose with Renault 5 extra thermostat modification..big thank you @kds,very much appreciated
waiting for weather to pic up down here and a couple of parts and it should be running again by Monday 11thTuesday12th next week.
But after watching YouTube i saw an mercan at tec support' talking about changing front and rear brake hoses at 105,000 miles,
well mine don't look like they have been changed, so they are already on order !
not bad for 2,000 miles driving like miss daisy
