cant it be towed home?Ha. Not really, but I've been posting all over this website today and these were the only replies I've been offered!
Okay, in that case I may send him a message. It wouldn't be so bad if it were parked outside my house but this car park fiasco is beyond ridiculous.
I'm looking into that. But I don't have AA or RAC.cant it be towed home?
As u mention "receiver" does that mean that u cannot unlock/lock the vehicle remotely? If so it's more than likely that the fob has an issue, do you have the spare fob to try as the vehicle comes with two. The receiver is part of the security ecu and doesn't suffer with condensation as the D2s receiver does... that's one of the 70 improvements the D2 has.If the battery in the key fob has been replaced, then I assume the key is transmitting ok. Maybe the receiver is the problem. Do D1s have the receiver in the roof lining like D2's? If so, check the connector to the receiver for condensation/ corrosion, maybe the receiver isn't talking to the car properly?
