+1, you need the EKA code first to remobilise it then diagnose and fix it or connect a dedicated tester and disable the immobiliser(you can't do that while it's immobilised)

Then it means the alarm sounder was disabled and some other bodge made to make it work without the fob so you might be phecked... if the sounder is disabled the EKA might be useless so yopu'll havet to send the BCU and ECU to a service where they can de-immobilise them... though if your's has problems with the "imboliser" it becomes more complicated:D:cool:

Aahh, The code with the Car is it the EKA code?

It may be that someone has turned off your alarms,

Also, make sure you are following the instructions exactly, If you have the wrong code it will still beep. OK code it beeps twice.

Cheers

I have a feeling it's had the alarms turned off. When you turn the key for the first 5seconds do you get an indication on the instrument Led to say it's in code mode

As for the code it does so EKA code but it's on a freelancer card which is gives me the thought it might be wrong hence paying to get the code. Just waiting for it now.

Yep, sounds like the alarms have been turned off.

But you make sure you turn it the right way ....................I have found peeps doing it wrong...LOL

Cheers
I was originally reading a post online which said all the digits were turned to unlock however since found another one and confirmed by yours it's 1 &3 to unlock 2&4 to lock

LOL,

The D1, is the opposite direction which causes a lot of confusion, those instructions in my post come from the D2 owners manual. Doulble check the one you have.

The timing is critical. Especially afterwards.

Cheers

I'll give it another bash tomorrow once I've received the code. If still no joy I'll have to give Roean a shout being my local specialist. Thanks for your help so far though

I would be tempted to say "Don't worry about lock and unlock", the instructions @neilly has written up also talk of towards the front and towards the rear of the vehicle specifically to reduce possible confusion.
The 5 minute delay after the code has been entered is critical, as is observing the red LED on the dashboard, especially since it seems likely that the sounder is either disabled or faulty. Its activity only shows the state of the immobiliser after the EKA has been correctly entered, it doesn't start indicating as you asked, "code mode".
