Afterthought - off roading in a country where it is totally illegal should probably not be done at all, or if you absolutely have to do it, you need a posse...
The original poster said he was on a logging track. Not sure that would count as off road or the legality off it. Would depend on signs at the beginning, i.e. authorised vehicles only etc
Some of the forest tracks can lead to some wonderful camp sites there again some land up in boggy, mozzy infested, areas full of tree stumps which are best left to the mozzys.
Kit can be expensive in Sweden. One lad could not get his wallet out fast enough when I told him the price I wanted for an Equipe diff guard. Another lad was very happy with the Anderson connectors I took. Non genuine ones cost him 3 times as much in Sweden
