Series 3 Ignition Switch.

Hi all.
Can I use a 12 volt Ignition Switch on my 24 volt FFR109. It does not have a steering lock.

I would have thought so, This switch advert appears to support this:

I'm sure a qualified vehicle electrician will be along soon to give you a definitive answer.

Great, thanks for that. Your's is the only reply I got so far. I am pretty sure a 24v will do a 12v, but not certain about the other way around.

Part no 551508 (without steering column lock) is shown in the parts catalogue for my 24v Series 3 FFR.

So I'd say yes it is the same part no for both.
