L322 Ignition coil order

I would of thought coils were triggered by crank and cam sensors.

You mentioned in your other thread that you reset the timing, I have a feeling your problem is incorrect vanos timing. Did you use the proper tools to lock the cams and crank? Did you use a multimeter to set the vanos?
Also, it could be chain guides breaking up with the hydraulic tensioner unable to compensate. Was the engine noisy when it last ran?
