i reckon an immobilising option is not a good idea...
if you know where the vehicle is and where its going, leave it at that, you'll always know where they'll be.
if an option to imobilise the vehicle is introduced they are more likely to set fire to it if they can't get it going....
if they think they got away with it, you can probably track it down to where they have parked it
