Hmm, Fertan looks interesting. I haven't tried that before. I like the sound of their epoxy paint. Maybe I'll buy some in the new year.

This is my thousandth post. On Christmas day too! How festive.

ive got a similar kit ,the thread on bar happens to be landy wheel nut size ,so allways plenty around to use to weld various studs to for different jobs

Had to beg steal and borrow one of a local garage the other day, so even if I never have to use it in anger I have one on standby now :D

back in the day I made one but only for pulling half shafts out of ford axles I used in my stock cars, i used a different locked diff for each different track.;)
you could change a diff in about 10 minuets, the trick was using mini rocker cover "nuts" on the diff bolts..
made for easier for socket set & ratchet to undo then do up.
never had rechargable drills then.

Yes but you clearly have a clue about doing stuff on cars! :D
I understand, tattoos and steel, not all this mechanical stuff ;) I am learning though :D

sadly, its been a long time of learning, but do we ever really learn it all?
tattoos are not my personal thing, but have a mate whos brillient at it all.

steel of one kind or another has been most of my life in engineering.
always said I was no good at woodwork, as you cant "weld" it

but I can bang nails in, and use boxes of them gold posidrive screws on wood "things" I build
thank the lord for rechargable drills....lol

Oh, and keep up my skills in welding as I own a disco. ;)
