Hi Jörg,

Wow, beautiful! I was in Iceland three times, twice on my bicycle and once with my Defender. But each time in Summer. Must go back in Winter!

I've done Iceland in the Summer... looks amazing in winter... i think i agree with Cartoonhead... next year

Is there a ferry to iceland from the UK?

I know there is one from Denmark.

Ive been giving this some serious thought.

Would anyone be up for a little azores/iceland adventure next year?

could be intrested. there is a ferry from denmark. or its posible to ship via a container but no idea of costs.

Dont take the ferry from Denmark...drive up through sweden to norway then get a ferry from the top of Norway. The danish ferry is the single most expensive trip known to man....its cheaper to buy a seat on R Bransons spaceship.

Cool, im pretty much guaranteed jan-march off work anyway so ill start looking into it.

Id have thought containers would be very expensive and then you have to fly yourself there as well.

Cheers, ill look into the Norska ferry then.

Ill be in Copenhagen next month, one of my favourite cities.
