I know, do a search and all that stuff. Already done that. I drive a 1996 Defender 90 Hard Top Van.

Found a few parts on exmoor trim,

- 4 Point Seatbelt (Inertia) EXT001-10
- Seat Belt Rear Top Mounting Bracket EXT220-16

Obviously, I also have the seat, given to me when I bought the car. Is this all I need to fit the seat and seatbelt?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Chris.

I got some chequer plate as the wheel arch is a bit thin bolted the seat down an used some small steel plates under wheel arch to strengthen it I've also added pic of seat belt so you can see how I've mounted mine

Thanks for the pics mate. Got the seat in today no problems. Used a bit of old aluminium for a bit of extra support. Will get the belt and mount on Monday. Will put a few pics up when complete.

Cheers,
Chris.

2 forward facing Exmoor rear seats (I got both for £100 a couple of years ago at a show)
Nichblog Project Sandy gets forward facing fold up seats in the back!

Where the seats attach to the tub, underneath is a big 3mm steal plate that spreads the load over about a 30x15cm area. I didn't take a pic of that.

Seatbelts, I haven't put a post up for this yet. I found 2 rear seatbelt mounts from an original TD5 rear seat installation i believe, these fitted easy onto the side panels. To mount the 'plug in' (technical term) part of the seat belt to the floor another bit of the 3mm plate was used underneath the tub floor, we went for 'long arm' plug-in bits, I have some foam type insulation on the floor covered with carpet so we just cut the foam out around the seatbelts so when they lay flat down things can still be slid in and out of the tub without obstruction.
