I need help with my rear door lock.

Hello to all.

I have just brought a brand new one pice rear door for my 1998 300Tdi defender.

The question is can i use any rear door lock or do i have to fit a puma lock with the central locking mechanism. ?????

Why can't you just swap over your current lock?
