I finally gone and done and did it...

I bought a third hand (is there any better kind?) defender 110 XS 03 reg with a handful of nice modifications (including a working overdrive) and a bucket of electrical issues. I've been a lurker on this forum for a while and most of my pre purchase information was made by reading things posted on here (thanks for that by the way). Already gotten my hands good and greasy fixing the little things and tidying up the small issues. She's off to the electrician soon, but typically drives fine regardless. No doubt i'll be popping up asking daft questions from time to time so fair trade, i'm a fully qualified tree surgeon (no doubt there are others on here) so i'm happy to answer questions about the green stuff while asking them about the black stuff.
