Hmm there was review in one of my old NZ 4x4 mags (now thron out
unfortunately) of the RHD one available in NZ, basic conclusions was it's a
****ty offroader, but a good load carrier on road, but rolls like hell in
corners.

You'd do better to get a Toyota Surf for about the same cash, or an Isuzu
Bighorn.

With difficulty - its not a pile of crap, far from it.

It might look ugly (the lower part of the rear doors looks convincingly like
someone has pranged the thing to start with), but its not a bad vehicle by
any standards at this price level - and a 5 year warranty as well.

It isn't the best (my vote is for the Kia Sorento at the price), but she's
probably bright enough to know that its not a pile of crap and will just
view any comments along those lines as jealousy.

Just tell her that's its as pretty as she is - and let her decide which way
to take that!
