My wife was pretty much the same and hated 90s & 110s. In the end I got one with the argument she rarely came out in the other cars.
but tbh out of the LRs I have owned (D1 300tdi, P38 4.6 HSE, 110 CSW) she must have liked the 110 the most. I sold it a couple of weeks ago to be picked up this weekend and in that time she has basically asked me to get a 90. currently getting the "but you really liked the 110 and it was easy to work on etc, etc". lol.
Offer her the pick up and get a double cab 110, she will soon be asking to borrow it and if not you get the bonus of a nice 110 dcpu which will be better than most slitty pickups on and off road

Thanks for (most) of the replies chaps. Still working on it but not helped by an effortless 800 mile journey down to south of France a few days ago in the Santa Fe. Not helped further by the fact thet we passed 2 110's in convoy travelling at least 20mph slower than us. Still, there are a few Landies down here which is useful in keeping the conversation going. Just tell her it's a landrover thing and that she wouldn't understand it.
If she keeps prying as to what you mean just tell her that landy drivers love being in their landys so much thay drive to places slower so they can stay in it for longer.

Tell her it's the new in thing. Round here there are four 90's being driven by some good looking chicks. makes a big change from looking at women driving BMW'S/Audi's
