rubber mallat and a pair of pliers to squeeze it tight where it bends around at the door check rod that bit is always a bugger

If you got a non original then you will end up cutting a small piece off the end to make it fit, and put something between the edge of the door and the bulkhead when the door is fully open after the split pin has been removed on the door opener, or you will end up with a dint on the side of your bulkhead.

Thanks all by the way, now can anyone tell me if fitting wingtop air scoop a benefit to heater flow etc

I have had the scoops on a few of my landy's/ yes they do make a difference. They force a lot more air in, I prefer the ones paddocks sell, the tall black ones with the grill they let more air in than the Fancy stainless steel ones

There's a HUGE difference in quality between genuine and ****part.
I went for the cheap option and they only fitted where they touched and there were big sections where I could see daylight.
Bit the bullet and bought a genuine one to try (they are expensive) - what a difference, cut the housekeeping budget and bought the other side as well.
