I am about to change the hoses on my 4.6 p38, Hose from the pump to the box was like rocking horse poo to find for my 96 model. Going to change them both at the same time because it looks easier to do and they are both caked in scale, leaking from the rubber/steel coupling just below the pump, this has been trickling down the side of the block because of the fan and ending up at the sump.
The question I have is, does anything else have to come out of the way in order to get them out. They run past the thermostat and under the matrix return pipe (under all my gas system bits and bobs which will have to come out anyway to get at the top of the steering box anyway)
Hopefully once undone they should drop down?
Cheers in advance,
