How noisy is noisy?

Hi everyone,

Quick question, how noisy is a TD5 (110–1999) fuel pump? My Disco TD5 (2001) is silent, but my 110 goes through two stages, is whines and is definitely audible, there's no doubt its doing its thing, then it increases in pitch, sounds like its had a sudden voltage increase - very similar to if I link my batteries together (I have a dual battery system).

Take a look at the link for a disco Td5. I’m sure there’s no difference between the two, although you’ll have to be outside the Landy for comparison…
