May I ask what year the P38 was voted tow car if the year by the snail club? Not sure how long ago the results go back and when it started. FL2 won it.in the lander section

@Henry_b no body needs to diss other landrovers for having fualts, all cars have fualts and if you don’t like the freelander, then thats your choice, i and many others like the hippo and also other landies like the defender and discos etc.
Handbags at Dawn I reckon.
They should slug it out. Or, attach a solid tow bar between the 2 vehicles and see who pulls who backwards?
300tdi discovery is the best all rounder
P38 is as reliable as a turd and freelanders can't tow enough and yes I do tow the weight, I've even towed a mullered P38 to the scrappers
That said if I didn't need the towing capacity I'd look at a td4 before I even considered a 4.6
Don't diss the hippo eh @Hippo
Cos overheated p38's take some pullingLander wouldn't stand a chance
Unless you can fit a Cummins or a small block why would you bother?hi everyone, this is my first post, and was wondering how much power the hippo’s drivetrain can take, as i would like to know how far to tune one up. Thanks for any help/advice
