After many years of longing for a LandRover I have finally purchased one but it needs some TLC - luckily I spent 20 odd years keeping them going whilst in the Army and I am glad to say that with the exception of the engine much remains the same
I need to reprint the toy and have found the colour, Caledonian Blue, but what I can't work out is how much I need - nor what I should use as an undercoat.
There are some bits that are bare ally, should I prime these then use a general undercoat, what type of primer and what is the best undercoat?
I think that cellulose paint is best for an amateur, and Carpaint can mix it, but I don't know how much I will need and do I need to thin it down before spraying?
Can someone give a newbie here an indication of what the coverage is for these paints please?
Many thanks - all tips gratefully accepted!!
