I should have bought the eazi bleed thingy but it was £17 and I was bein' tight and thinking BEER or EAZIBLEED ?? Obviously beer won.. damn.

No friends None that I would trust within 200yrds of me landy. They'd have the wheels off and the stereo out.. And they don't live round here and no ones free this evenin so I'll just have to crack open a bevvy and arrange to do it ANOTHER day. Whens the next green lanein' day? Gotta fix it by then so's yer can all take the **** outta me 'mongrel'!!

Regarding bleeding the system out, dont bother with a bleed kit, all you need is a jar, and a piece of rubber hose...
Stick hose over bleed nipple, open bleed nipple a bit, stick the other end in the jar, fill master to the brim.
Push clutch pedal fully twice.
Refill master, push clutch fully twice again.
By this time fluid will have started to fill the jar (and the pipe will be full of fluid) look at the pipe and see if there are any air bubbles, if not, give it one more push, check again, top up the master, and go and tighten the bleed nipple. Job done.

thats all very well, Disco - but she wants to empty the system to replace the master cylinder! bleedin it will come l8r

I'll find sumbody! There was no rush for a 'left foot' today cos I could'nt get the bleed screw out (sorry,un-done, not out out as such..). Will have someone on standby for my next attempt! Its handy knowin' ways to do stuff on yer own tho MHM. I'm a stubborn independent.
