hi chaps i sorted the cutting out bit, got rid of the crappy k&n and it has bin fine. its using water though, oh and the steering box is leaking:mad: . i have also bin looking in to raising the ride height for better body clearance is this a good move? then i can put some big boy tyres on there to give better diff clearance from the floor. is this too risky for it tipping over??

cheers in advance ant.:)

steering boxes are always bloody leaking. you can service it yourself but isnt recommended, get a service exchange unit.

the max lift is 2 inches, without doing major and expensive mods.

lossing water can be anything from a leaky pump to a headgasket problem.

could be a pinhole in one of the hoses or rad then. you wont see anything cause it turns to steam and disappears.

2 INCHES MAX WITH OUT CHANGES TO PROP SHAFTS ETC, AS FOR WATER CHECK THE PUMP UNDERNEATH THERE IS A 4MM HOLE APPROX MAKE SURE THIS IS DRY AS BEARING AND SEAL WEAR WATER PASSES THROUGH AND WEEPS IN EARLY STAGES, LATER TOTAL FAILURE AND LANDY WILL BLEED TO DEATH.
STEERING PUMPS LEAK AND THATS THAT; GOOD LUCK
