The rest of the landy was sort of done, suspension is standard and is on all terrains. brakes are nice n' big.
Errr whats the point of uprating the brakes, but leaving the suspension as standard and fitting AT's? Your brakes will only provide as much stopping power as your tyres have grip. The faster you are travelling when you brake, means you have to brake harder. This increases the weight transfer onto the front axle. Without stiffer suspension, to limit this load transfer, the front tyres are put under even greater strain, and these tyres are already having to cope with the extra braking forces generated by the big brakes you have. Not only that, but you have fitted tyres that are designed to operate on both road and off road, by design, these tyres have greater and deeper voids between tread blocks, meaning there is less rubber in contact with the tarmac than road tyres. Not only this, but they are not going to be rated for anything near 115 mph. can anyone else spot where this is heading???

Duelling banjos. Haven't heard that for ages- how good is that film.

Oh yeah, how fast, erm,.....who gives a ****.

Put up some pictures of your 115 mph landy on the site .Do the LandyZone members a favour...;-)
If we ever see it up for sale ,then well know not to buy it as it's had the **** kicked out of it regularly by you.

i managed 65 mph on a german autobahn and decieded that such speeds were not to be graced by my old lady so never again has she reached this and 115 is a very stupid in a 110 but back in the day with an izuzu powered 90 we used to go drifting in the wet so cant say i havent played

my SERIES 3 200tdi has had about 90, my mate in a 300tdi disco couldn't keep up doing 85! the 900-16 petlas tyres were starting to complain!!! shame about the drum brakes though :p

cruises easily at 80, and i've had 100 out of it and won't be doing it again.

Oh it's a Freelander btw :)
