How do I remove this clevis pin

Hi, Not posted much so I am not sure if this is the right place to ask my question, apologies if it's not...

I am trying (unsuccessfully) to remove the hand brake cable on my 1985 90... Any ideas on how to remove the clevis pin from the drum end of the cable, it will not pass the bracket that the rod is attached to... Any help would be appreciated.

Put a prybar in the gap and use the flex in the lever to make room for the pin
