How difficult is a chassis change?

Also not sure I'd want to use that eBay kit to bolt the body on with it being stainless, yes the bolts won't rust but it's going to increase the chance of your body ( vehicles ) rotting in some important places.

As others have said it's not a difficult job, just a little time consuming if you're stripping it all down.
If you can get use of a 2 post ramp and lift body off in one piece it is a much quicker job. (i.e less than a week)
It can also get bloody expensive very quickly. I'm pretty shrewd with money at the best of times, but I can't bring myself to bolt rusty crap to a shiny new chassis, or anywhere for that mater.
So it's then either spend time stripping, cleaning and painting, or replace.

You keep thinking I'll replace this, that and the other while it's in bits because it's easier. But all these little bits add up quickly and you're soon a couple of £1000 in the hole

i think im in for about 4 on my build - but i did splash £1100 out on an 11L engine cause it was local and my 19j was unhappy - all new suspension , trailing arms , doors , Bushes / aframe ball joint , repaired my tub /chassis and bulkhead and a heated screen.......

4k doesnt get you much of a landy these days. so i consider it money well spent.
