After plugging into a trailer the other week I had a bit of a fuse box melt down !!! The previous week when I plugged into it the headlamp fuse blew. No problems of great consequence there or so i thought!!
However this week the fuse didn't blow but melted through the bottom of the fuse block and a fair bit of smoke came from just up and right hand from the fuse block and have stopped the lights working at all.
I have today installed the Boomslang wiring loom but can only guess that it still needs the headlamp fused input to open the relays which then allow the main feed that goes direct to the battery .
My question is this, how can I keep this Boomslang loom but get the lights to operate without going via the main fuse box and STILL work off the column switch?
Has anyone any info on this please as I'm struggling to get my head round what I need to do?
Hope someone can help.
