Foolishly bought myself a lovely big green behemoth of a RR last month, a T reg in lovely condition. No problems, until...........now..............
Temperature gauge went all the way up, light came on, (no horrible noises, everything still going fine) for about a minute, then all back to normal. Got it the half mile to my destination, popped the bonnet to have a look once it had cooled,and found rusty water splatters around the water reservoir and no water.
Topped it back up with water to get me home, everything fine for five minutes, then needle flies back up, light goes on for about 30 seconds, then everything back to normal until I get home.
Not had another look under the bonnet yet, am too scared.
As you can tell I'm not too good with motors
Any ideas/advice?
